COMMENT: Jimi Hendrix played a total of 10 shows in Germany and Austria in January 1969. The designer genius Günther Kieser created the poster for these shows. Due to its incredibly impressive design, the poster became an icon of rock history and is one of the most sought-after posters on the market. 

This particular poster was purchased by the previous owner directly at the concert in Vienna, Austria. It is the so-called "program poster" and was sold folded. It has the dimensions of a subway advertising poster and measures 33 x 46 inches (84 x 118 cm). According to the previous owner, it was mounted on a thin wooden cardboard board in the early 1970s, on which it still rests. There is wear along the edges and minor areas of paper loss. The white area is spotty. The overall impression, however, is still stunning.
